Reverend Mandy Brown
I am the Vicar of Holy Trinity.
Born in Dartford , Kent. I grew up on a Council estate with working class parents a brother and sister.
I left school at the age of 16yrs and went to College to study to be a Nursery Nurse. Then a career in The Princess Mary Royal Air Force Nursing Service beckoned.
I had met my husband to be just before I ‘joined up’ so our relationship blossomed through the test of distance and letters. Roy and I married in 1978, have 2 children. Both are married andwe are also blessed with a Grandaughter.
I enjoyed my career as a Registered Nurse and Social Worker, but for a very long time God had been calling me to serve. I trained to be a Reader and value the ten years I spent in the Rochester Diocese in this role. I eventually went through the selection process for ordination and trained with South East Institute of Theological Education (SEITE), graduating with a DipTh and later completing BA(Hons)I served my curacy in St Albans Diocese in the Bishop’s Hatfield Team Ministry.
I look forward to serving the people of Holy Trinity bringing the good news of Jesus Christ to all.
